Hey, I’m Alya, a product and UX designer passionate about turning complex problems into intuitive, human-centered experiences. I recently earned my master’s in Design + Innovation from UW–Madison, where I focused on how design can connect people across sectors and stories.

Before grad school, I spent four years at Pinhome, where I redesigned the core consumer app homepage, improved onboarding and retention features, and contributed to the company’s design system. Working on both consumer and business-facing products taught me how to balance user needs with business goals and design for growth at scale.

My journey started with computer science, but I quickly found my passion in product design. Today, I bring a mix of visual craft, systems thinking, and empathy to every project, always aiming to make the work both impactful and memorable.
